What should players bring to camp?
Players should bring sheets or bed linens, pillow, towels, toiletries, soccer clothing, cleats, shinguards and a soccer ball for the training camp. Soccer balls are available for purchase at the Camp Store for $25.
Where do campers register?
Once on campus follow clearly marked signs for soccer camp where you will check-in and receive your soccer camp itinerary.
Will campers have access to athletic trainers?
The athletic trainers are accessible 24 hours a day.
Do campers need any spending money?
Spending money is not essential, however players may wish to buy extra drinks/snacks or order pizza for a late night snack.
How do I get there?
PC is located in Clinton, South Carolina, which is at the junction of Interstates 26 and 385. Driving time is approximately three hours from Atlanta and two hours from Charlotte. Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) is the closest major airport.
From Greenville, S.C.: Take I-385 South toward Columbia to Exit 2. Turn right and travel about 2 miles until you must veer right. You’ll go through downtown Clinton and cross over railroad tracks. Go straight at the traffic light (McDonald’s is on the left). Go through another traffic light and look for Presbyterian College on the left.
From Spartanburg, S.C.: Take I-26 East toward Columbia to Exit 52. Turn right onto Highway 56. Travel on 56 until it intersects with Highway 72. Turn right onto Highway 72. You’ll go through downtown Clinton and cross over railroad tracks. Go straight at the traffic light (McDonald’s is on the left). Go through another traffic light and look for Presbyterian College on the left.
From Columbia, S.C.: Take I-26 West toward Spartanburg to Exit 54. Turn left onto Highway 72. You’ll go through downtown Clinton and cross over railroad tracks. Go straight at the traffic light (McDonald’s is on the left). Go through another traffic light and look for Presbyterian College on the left.
From Charlotte, N.C.: Take I-77 South toward Columbia to Exit 65. Turn right onto Highway 9 and go to Chester. In Chester, turn left onto Highway 72, and take Highway 72 to Clinton. You’ll go through downtown Clinton and cross over railroad tracks. Go straight at the traffic light (McDonald’s is on the left). Go through another traffic light and look for Presbyterian College on the left.
From Asheville: Take I-26 East to Spartanburg; see directions from Spartanburg.
